Lucas founded the company in 2017, bringing a wealth of firsthand experience in primary care. His journey in the sector began at the age of 16 when he worked part-time as a receptionist in a single-handed surgery. This early exposure gave him deep insight into the day-to-day challenges faced by healthcare providers.

As he progressed in his career, Lucas identified a critical gap—a need for a dedicated provider offering tailored, end-to-end solutions for primary care. His extensive background illuminated the immense pressures facing smaller, standalone practices, which often struggle with limited resources, financial uncertainty, regulatory complexities, and operational inefficiencies.

Lucas recognised that existing government-led initiatives, such as ICBs, buying groups, primary care networks, and integrated neighbourhood teams, often lacked the flexibility and depth required to address these challenges effectively. He saw an opportunity to create a private enterprise that would champion the needs of the sector by providing bespoke services that empower primary care organisations to achieve sustainable success.

With this insight, Lucas founded HealthPro Management to fill this vital gap, combining his deep understanding of the sector's intricacies with a commitment to innovation and excellence. Under his leadership, the company has grown into a trusted partner for primary care providers, delivering tailored solutions that enhance efficiency, ensure compliance, and drive long-term success.
